La Verna Aged Care and Dementia Village was intimately founded from the heart, stemming out of our team’s compassion, to provide a perfect place for older adults. Spear headed by Miguel A. Ramos Jr. MD PhD, a multi awarded renowned Medical Doctor who is considered a pioneer of Geriatric (Doctor of Old Age) Medicine in the Philippines, La Verna Aged Care and Dementia Village Project started in 2016. Dr. Ramos has traveled around the globe, learning and discovering the best ways to provide solemnity and belongingness of the older generation in the current society, enriching them and making them appreciate their present environment, hence giving them the quality of life, they deserve, during their twilight years.
